Abbeys Auctions is a third generation Australian-owned family company that was
founded over 40 years ago in Box Hill. The move to the Station Street premises
over 35 years ago has cemented our reputation as one of Australia’s most
popular and renowned auction houses. We have recently expanded by adding a new showroom area, a
large off-street carpark and comprehensive internal modernization to display clients
goods.
Abbeys has been the preferred auctioneers for State Trustees in Victoria for over
30 years and now have been appointed the SOLE auction service providers for all
state trustee clients.
We specialise in the professional dispersal of deceased estates,
with various law firms, other trustee companies and private vendors using Abbeys Auctions on
a regular basis. Australia Post have used Abbeys for the last 7 years as their appointed auctioneers
for the disposal of their lost property and dead letter office effects.
